Inside out cheddar burger

• Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce
• 1800g ground beef
• Cheddar cheese cut into 4 thick slabs
• 4 brioche buns, split, toasted
• 4 lettuce leaves
• 3 tomatoes
• 8 cooked onion rings


Heat grill to high.

Divide beef into 8 equal sections, and gently form each section into a patty. Place cheese slab on top of 4 patties. Cover with remaining patties and form around cheese slabs. Make an indentation at the top of the patty with your thumb, make sure the cheese is fully covered with beef on top and bottom.

Place burgers on grill over high heat until both sides are seared, flipping once about 4-6 minutes each side, or until your desired level of cooking.

To build burgers, spread barbecue sauce on both sides of the toasted brioche bun. Place lettuce and tomatoes on the bottom bun and top with burger and onion rings.

Top with top bun and serve.
